Welcome to the Northern Ireland Civil Service (NICS) Bowling Club website.

The aim of the website is twofold. Firstly to inform visitors about our club and secondly to keep our own members up to date with all things NICS.

Club News

The club is privileged to have Derek Forsythe as the President of the Private Greens in 2012 and we wish him every success in his role this season.

Opening Day is likely to be Sat 31 March 2012. All members are invited to come along. Ian Leonard is the incoming Men's President.

The PG Flag unfurling will be at NICS on Sat 14 April. NICS will then play a friendly match of 6 rinks against the PG as is customary. The match will be followed by dinner in the Pavilion.

The men's league programme starts the following Saturday:

Senior vs PSNI at home Sat 21 April at 2pm
Midweek vs Ulster Transport away on Wed 2 May at 6.30pm
Ladies and Vets fixtures to follow.

Coaching at NICS starts Sat 5 May at 10am. Coaching is free and the only equipment required is flat shoes.
